Mathematical Autobiography Each group member will prepare a mathematical autobiography, typewritten, no longer than 1 page in length. The autobiography should include your experiences with mathematics, and a reflection on your strengths and weaknesses and interests with respect to mathematics.
Art Work Express your creativity related to Advanced Functions! Create an original piece of art work and a one paragraph description of how your piece relates to MHF4U. Your art work may be a collage of print items, a computer generated graphic, a three-dimensional model, a drawing, a video, a painting, a poem, a cartoon, or a song.
Media Clipping Choose a media clipping (newspaper or magazine article/image/graph/cartoon/photograph) that shows connections of mathematics, and in particular, Advanced Functions to real life. Include a one paragraph description of how your selection relates to MHF4U.
Self-Assessment Each student will complete the attached “How I Work – A Self-Assessment”.
Marking Scheme This Portfolio assignment will count for 7% of your mark for the MHF4U course. You will be evaluated individually. Your portfolio will graded using the following rating scale:
