Asymptote- a line the function will get closer too, but will never touch, also a location when a function is undefined (Denominator of 0) - The domain (X Value) of the function is undefined because the functions approaches but does not cross (except in special circumstances) -Can be horizontal or vertical
Rational- All fractions àPolynomial/Polynomial = f(x)
X intercepts - Optional (happens when y = 0)
Y intercepts - All functions have Y intercepts (happens when x = 0) Only Exception is 1/X, where subbing 0 for X would get an undefined value. (And make the universe implode)
Today we worked on two assignments. One about types of numbers and the other was to graph a rational function and then make it into a picture. Both are due Wednesday.
